Cancellation Policy : Please Read

 

Once a booking has been made by you, the customer, it is a contract between you, the customer, and us at YOU Massage Therapy, that the appointment will be attended and paid for.

 

We understand that on occasion you will be required to re-arrange pre-booked appointments for any number of reasons, as long as this is made clear 24 hours in advance then no charge will occur.

 

If, however, you cancel the appointment with less than 24 hours notice, a charge will incur, depending on the nature of the cancellation:

 

If you contact us to cancel less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment but you do re-schedule it for another time then you will only be charged 50% of the loss of earnings (treatment cost), this will usually be added to the cost of your next treatment if it's your first time, yet if we feel concerned about your commitment to your next appointment then payment will be asked for over the phone for missed fees and your next appointment up front.

 

If you contact us to cancel less than 24 hours in advance of your appointment but do not re-schedule, you will be charged 100% of the loss of earnings (treatment cost), payment will be asked for over the phone otherwise issued as an invoice to you with a reminder of these binding terms.

 

If you do not contact us to cancel and you do not show up for your appointment, you become a ‘no-show’ you will be liable for 100% of the loss of earnings (treatment cost), this will be issued as an invoice to you with a reminder of these binding terms, unless we get hold of you by phone and you rebook, in which case you will only be charged 50% yet asked for payment in advance, you will also be required to pay for any future treatments in advance.

 

If you are taken ill or there is an emergency, we are reasonable people, please let us know in the first available instance (i.e; first thing in the morning) and we will waive our fees. Thank you.

 

Late cancellations and ‘no-shows’ disrupt the conscientious and prompt service we aspire to provide to all, we are very busy here and there will always have been someone who could have been fitted in to missed appointment slots, which is why, at a courtesy to other guests and to staff, these charges exist. We are also required to pay our therapists' wages, if they are expecting a client, no-shows and late cancellations cost the business money every time.
