YOU Massage & Therapy Centre Southampton, have been closed since 21st March 2020 due to COVID-19. We are re-opening, offering Osteopathy on 17th June, and will be gradually adding more services as allowable.

This page and its links have all the information you require to understand how we are meeting the requirements to put our clients’ and staff’s safety as priority. Please read it carefully and please reach out if you have any questions.

Before you book…

Anybody who has a high temperature or a new persistent cough, or has been in touch with someone with these symptoms, travelled overseas within 14 days or has tested positive for COVID-19 please do not book in with us and follow the guidance on self-isolation

Client Intake Process during COVID-19 updated 16/07/20

Dear valued client,

We are excited to be able to welcome you back to our studio for your appointment, which has been booked for:
Time and Date
Please enter via Basement / Ground Floor and knock the door where requested
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment, thank you
Please be aware, treatments are only allowable under strict guidelines.
You are now required to complete 2 steps to confirm your booking please. If these steps are not complete at least 48 hours prior to your appointment, we will be forced to cancel the booking and you will have to contact us to reschedule. Please read the entirety of this email so that you are aware of the policies we have in place. Thank you for your understanding, we are taking every care we can to assure everyone is safe and can enjoy their treatments.
Step 1:
Please complete our mandatory pre-screening form which is designed to protect you, us and the public. Please assure you read, understand and complete with honesty and viability.
Please note, the questionnaire asks you to identify whether or not you are considered ‘High Risk’. As we are confident in our practices we are not excluding High Risk clients, but we do recommend you visit us in the morning to minimise any potential cross contamination risk. So please consider this, as well as a discussion with your doctor, prior to confirmation, thank you.
As this is your first visit to our premises, you are also required to complete a New Client Consultation form, which will be reviewed by your therapist in the strictest confidence prior to your treatment.

Step 2: 
Pre-pay for your appointment, to minimise contact with our staff and equipment. This can be done via paypal, using the link below. Please be aware we are charging each client a £2 additional fee to cover costs of our PPE.

You do not need to have an account with Paypal to use this payment method, you can select the “Guest” option to check out and enter your card details. If you would prefer to pay over the phone, you can do so by calling us at the studio on 02380 639747.
Thank you, we are looking forward to welcoming you back to our studio, which has undergone clearing and sanitation prior to re-opening.
Please minimise contact with anyone prior to your appointment, if you are a key worker, please shower before your visit, please keep coats and bags safely in your car, where possible and please consider changing into clean, loose clothing prior to your visit. You will be provided with a lidded box to keep any belongings within your treatment room.  Our massage tables are lined with plastic and we are providing just one towel per client. Treatments will run on time but may have to finish slightly early for essential cleaning if required. Thank you for your understanding that we are all doing our absolute best to bring you an excellent service.
We will be minimising treatment time with you lying face up and not providing any treatment to the facial region area. Your treatment will otherwise be expertly tailored to your needs as safel;y as we can by our dedicated team.
Upon arrival you will be asked to verbally agree to the terms as detailed in your Pre-screen form, that your circumstances have not changed. You will be temperature checked with a laser thermometer, asked to sanitise your hands, put on a mask, if not already wearing one, and await further instructions from our team, as demonstrated in the posters, attached.
Please review the How to wear a face mask safely and follow any additional guidance presented to you. Please note, we will supply you with a face mask prior to entry and after sanitizing your hands if you are not already wearing one.
Please do not arrive more than 5 minutes before your appointment and please keep your distance from other clients upon entering and exiting and waiting within our premises.
Please be extra vigilant on your way to our premises, minimise use of public transport, where possible and please touch as little as you can on your journey to and within our practice.
Please attend alone, if you require a chaperone, they must also be pre-screened.
We are not supplying water so please drink before and after your treatment, being careful not to touch your face mask during your visit.
Please inform us immediately should your circumstances change.
We approach with confident caution and are here for all of our clients, staff and the community.
Please be aware that our phone lines are not, as yet, manned full time. Please leave a voicemail or drop us an email if you have any queries and we will get back to you as soon as we can.

This document provides a written record of the heightened infection control measures that this clinic has put into place to ensure the safety of all staff and patients during COVID-19.
