At YOU Massage, Southampton, during a Pregnancy Massage treatment you are propped up with soft pillows to make you feel comfortable whilst specially trained therapists work on all those tense and achy areas. It is common when pregnant to get a lot of lower back pain. This is due to the ligaments in the pelvis softening to allow the pelvis to move as your baby grows and also the weight of the baby pulling you forward and changing your posture. This can also cause tightness in the hamstring and calf muscles in the back of the legs.
