About your YOU Massage & Therapy teachers...
Your teacher Émilie, You Massage & Therapy Centre Manager, Health coach, Gym instructor, and passionate Yoga teacher.
Émilie is an enthusiastic languages speaker, nature explorer, and shares a big love for animals of all sorts. She loves running in the countryside, exploring, foraging and long walks.
Émilie started to develop a strong daily yoga practise when she moved to England and noticed how much the weekly class she was attending worked miracles on her tights legs and back pain, and how healthy the older students were that had been practising for many years. She has always loved all types of exercise, and been interested in keeping the body and mind healthy through a regular practise and a healthy lifestyle. The benefits she felt from meditation and breathwork from the yoga practice convinced her that Yoga is a perfect combination for a healthy body and mind.
Émilie is a Yoga teacher certified by Yoga Alliance. She is curious about learning more and more styles of yoga or bodyweight exercises, as well as mindfulness practises, that can help herself and others feeling more balanced in their life, and can be combined together to deliver the most beneficial classes. She is also part of the Southampton Yoga Association since 2022 when she moved in the area.
Elodie practiced yoga for over 15 years now. Her Hatha Yoga classes are based on the Living Yoga Method, a complete toolkit for self-transformation, which includes breathwork, posture training and relaxation, to enable you to take back control of your body, breath and mind, and achieve an empowered and happier life!
All levels Yoga classes at YOUNITY studio in Bedford place Southampton:
Beginners friendly with some challenging options for athletes - please arrive 5-10min early to set up (the doors close promptly at the start of the class)

- TUESDAY - WEDNESDAY - THURSDAY 60min YOGA CLASS at 6:15pm with Emilie -
The class will be tailored around the students with Emilie/Elodie's knowledge for poses and styles variations.
Their dedicated and passionate teaching style will guide you on your journey to You-nity, as well as supporting every body type to gain fitness, flexibility and balance, through a gentle flow, adaptative poses and breath.
Emilie and Elodie’s Gentle Yoga to Dynamic flow style combines some Breath work and Traditional Yoga poses, into a mix of Vinyasa sequencing, Hatha yoga, Viniyoga and Core work style, to assure your body moves with ease and gains a strong and healthy posture. She will also introduce you to raise your body, movement awareness and enhance your respiratory capacity. For everyone wanting to get the most out of their Southampton Yoga Class, designed for all bodies to become healthy and strong.
A particularly good Yoga if YOU want to be fit and strong, gain a better balance, challenge yourself and increase your breathing capacity, including if you are an athlete and want to get more from your routine. The gentle to higher physical intensity with your teacher's breathing guidance helps you to develop a strong connection with your body and its motions.
Many people think of stretching when they think of Yoga and, at Younity, we believe a regular stretch routine keeps you in good health as it allows all the fibres to open up and for natural, restorative blood flow to be optimum.
Your teacher guides you through this Yoga full body class to connect you to your body, keep a relaxed but strong focus and increase your flexibility and strength. This will give you the perfect balance for your week for everyone wanting to release tension from their day thanks to their Southampton Yoga Class.
Dynamic Yoga, taught by dedicated Yoga enthusiast, Emilie, is in essence a complete, VinyasaYoga course, great to build up strength, flexibility and balance, expect to sweat but also to release tension with a nice relaxation to conclude your practice.
For all levels, Dynamic Yoga flow, for people who want to get stronger, more balanced, more flexible and challenge themselves, getting back into their body, building a strong mind, with a supportive, inspiring group, sharing a bit of Yoga philosophy along the way.
Yoga Teacher, Emilie, is passionate about running and sports, and enjoys teaching those who want to challenge themselves a bit more than a usual Yoga Class, you will quickly become strong and build a strong Yoga community and Philosophy, minimising any pain or stiffness usually associated with exercise!

No specific belief system is demanded or required for Yoga to be practised, as it is fundamentally a philosophy, and structured approach to mind & body which is practised by Hindus, Buddhists, Christian’s, & almost any religious denomination one could mention worldwide.
We will soon be adding more classes to our Southampton Yoga Studio Timetable, as well as workshops, ceremonies, sharing circles, Meditation and other practices.

Students are encouraged to bring a bottle of water, their own Yoga Mats and small towel, if required, otherwise, we do have spares.
Please arrive peacefully and Yoga ready, if possible, in comfortable, loose clothes; you may use the bathroom to change if you need to but we do not have a changing room as such, thanks for understanding.
Please also keep in mind, there will be massage treatments going on throughout the whole building, thank you so much for your mindfulness.
