Sound Baths in Southampton:
This will be a journey of sound and a guided meditation. Soundbaths have many holistic benefits – physical, mental, emotional and spiritual. Cymatic studies have showed how intention and sound and different vibrational frequencies affects water with many positive outcomes. As we are 70-80% water sounbaths can have similar benefits. Live blood results after a 20 minute gong meditation confirmed blood cells were more separated, round, hydrated with less acidity and inflammation. Whether it is to balance your chakras, have more inner peace, stillness and calmness. Experience natural binaural beats, Alter your brainwaves to a theta healing state, improve your meditation and present moment awareness, or just have a deeply relaxing experience. All our welcome. Just bring your own pillow and blanket and experience this beautifully orchestrated sounbath experience, with Holistic J at the YouMassage therapy centre.

– Crystal therapy – a holistic healing practice that involves the use of crystals and gemstones to promote physical, emotional, and spiritual healing. The idea behind crystal healing is that every crystal has a unique vibrational energy or frequency that can interact with the energy fields of the body to restore balance and harmony. Crystal healers believe that different types of crystals have different healing properties and can be used to address specific health issues or imbalances. For example, amethyst is often used to promote relaxation and relieve stress, while rose quartz is said to help with emotional healing and promote self-love. During a crystal healing session, a practitioner may place crystals on or around a person’s body or use them in other ways, such as in meditation or visualization exercises. The practitioner may also use their intuition or guidance from the client to choose which crystals to use and where to place them.
Many people find it helpful for managing stress, anxiety, and other emotional or physical issues. It’s important to note that crystal therapy is generally considered a complementary or alternative therapy and should not replace conventional medical treatments. It is often used in conjunction with other holistic practices such as meditation, yoga, and energy healing to support overall well-being and with other medical treatments. Crystal therapy can provide a unique and therapeutic experience that nurtures their mind, body, and spirit.
– Sound therapy – a holistic healing practice that utilises sound vibrations to promote physical, emotional, and mental well-being. It is based on the belief that sound has the power to affect our body, mind, and spirit. The primary principle of sound therapy is that everything in the universe, including our bodies, is in a state of vibration/frequency. When we are in a state of good health, these vibrations are balanced and harmonious. However, when we experience physical or emotional stress, illness, or imbalance, the vibrations become disrupted. Sound therapy aims to restore balance and harmony by using various sound tools and techniques. These can include instruments like Tibetan singing bowls, tuning forks, gongs, drums, and even the human voice. The sounds produced by these instruments create gentle vibrations that resonate with different parts of the body, including organs, muscles, and energy centers (chakras). During a sound therapy session, the practitioner may place the instruments on or around the client’s body or use them in the surrounding space. As the sounds and vibrations permeate the client’s being, they help to release tension, clear energetic blockages, and restore a sense of equilibrium. The benefits of sound therapy can be both physiological and psychological. Physically, it can relax muscles, reduce stress, relieve pain, and improve sleep quality. Psychologically, it can induce deep relaxation, reduce anxiety and depression, enhance focus and concentration, and promote emotional healing.
